Scotts® turf Builder™ grass Seed Sun and Shade Mix® thrives in a variety of conditions. This mix contains root building Nutrition, a combination of ingredients that is expertly crafted to help establish deep roots to grow thick, green turf so that you can build a better, stronger lawn from the roots up. Scotts® turf Builder™ grass Seed Sun and Shade Mix® is designed for full sun and dense shade and has medium drought-resistance with medium to high-durability. It can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For excellent results, apply in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 55 and 70 deg F or air temperatures are between 60 and 80 deg F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 in tall. One 5.6 lb bag of Scotts® turf Builder™ grass Seed Sun and Shade Mix® has a new lawn coverage of 745 sq-ft and an overseeding coverage of 2240 sq-ft.
